This occurred quite by accident... I was toying with different looks for a staircase handrail and ended up with this: I then had the idea of choping it into smaller lengths to make Sanding blocks. Here is what resulted: The sanding blocks look as good today as they did 6 years ago... Notes:- The base must be thick enough to not bend under pressure when the sandpaper is secured into place by the top screws.
